Next is a really stunning German Kriegsmarine officer’s dagger with protepee.  The dagger is in wonderful condition with a blazing blade and is nicely maker marked for E. & F. Horster, Solingen.  There is the slightest indentation in the scabbard that is almost impossible to see but it is there.  The portepee is in good shape with minor wear and is tied nice and tight.  The dagger’s catch is fully functioning.  The blade’s double etched is a beautiful anchor and sea creature design.  A amazing dagger for the Kriegsmarine collector.
